The Greenway project is a perfect demonstration of our centralized framework in action. Rather than relying on external contractors, Storm Holdings facilitated the acquisition of the land, providing the financial bedrock required.
From there, Storm Developments executed the high-spec construction, and the completed assets were seamlessly transferred to Storm Lettings for ongoing, high-yield management.
By enforcing strict corporate governance and ethical standards across all divisions, we ensure every group asset is energy-efficient, operationally sound, and built to stand the test of time.
Our centralised framework provides the financial and structural continuity needed to capitalise on strategic market opportunities with absolute clarity.

Storm Holdings is the asset management and investment backbone of the Storm Property Group. Its primary role is to oversee, protect and grow the group’s property assets across the North East – providing the structural and financial foundation that supports everything the group does.
In practical terms, Storm Holdings manages the group’s own portfolio of properties and investments, ensures assets are performing as they should, and provides the long-term stability that allows the other parts of the group – lettings, investments and developments – to operate with confidence.
Think of Storm Holdings as the part of the group that takes the long view. While Storm Lettings manages day-to-day tenancies and Storm Developments delivers projects on site, Storm Holdings is focused on the bigger picture – building something of lasting value in the North East and making sure the group’s assets are structured and managed in a way that protects and grows that value over time.
Storm Holdings manages group assets through a combination of active portfolio oversight, strategic acquisition planning, and close coordination with the other divisions of the Storm Property Group.
Properties within the group portfolio are assessed regularly against performance benchmarks – occupancy, rental yield, condition, and long-term capital value. Where a property is underperforming, Storm Holdings works with Storm Lettings and Storm Investments to identify why and address it – whether that requires a refurbishment, a change in management approach, or a reassessment of the target tenant profile.
Acquisitions are evaluated not just on their immediate return potential but on how they fit within the wider portfolio and the group’s long-term strategy for the region. Storm Holdings brings the same hands-on, owner-operator mentality to asset management that Jason Blackburn applied to his first properties in Hartlepool – informed by direct experience, not just financial modelling.
Yes. Storm Holdings is open to corporate-level partnerships where there is a clear strategic fit and a shared commitment to the long-term development of the North East.
This includes partnerships with housing associations, registered providers, local authorities, institutional investors, and other property businesses looking to work with an experienced, locally rooted group. We have delivered projects for supported living providers, worked alongside social housing organisations, and managed assets on behalf of third-party investors – and we approach each partnership with a straightforward conversation about what both sides are trying to achieve.
We are selective about the partnerships we enter into. We are not looking to add volume for its own sake. We are looking for relationships built on aligned values, clear terms, and a genuine shared interest in delivering something of quality. If that sounds like the kind of partnership you are looking for, we are happy to talk.
The Storm Property Group structure means each division – Storm Lettings, Storm Investments, Storm Developments and Storm Holdings – benefits from shared resource, shared knowledge, and a level of operational and financial backing that no standalone business in any one of those areas could replicate on its own.
For Storm Lettings, that means access to investment expertise and development capacity that helps landlords understand what their properties are capable of – not just what they are currently achieving. For Storm Investments, it means being able to offer investors a proposition backed by a live, actively managed portfolio rather than a theoretical model. For Storm Developments, it means projects move faster and more efficiently because finance, management and lettings capability all sit within the same group.
Storm Holdings sits at the centre of that framework – providing the financial structure, the asset oversight, and the strategic direction that allows each division to focus on what it does best, knowing the wider group has the foundations in place to support it.
The Storm Property Group was built around a small number of principles that have not changed.
Do the job properly. Every property we acquire, renovate, develop or manage is held to the same standard – the one we would apply if it were our own. Cutting corners costs more in the long run, and it is not who we are.
Invest in the people. The quality of the team is the quality of the service. We hire people who care about doing things well and we back them to do it. That applies across every part of the group.
Back the North East. We are not a group that extracts value from an area and moves on. We are committed investors in this region – putting our own money into properties, developments and businesses here because we believe in what the North East can become. That commitment is not incidental to how we operate. It is central to it.
Be straight. With our landlords, our tenants, our development partners and our investors. If something is not right, we say so. If something is not going to work, we say that too. The relationships that last are built on honesty, and those are the only kind we are interested in building.
